Frequently Asked Questions About Our Day Nursery

Our experienced team holds relevant early years qualifications, including NNEB childcare qualifications and Early Years foundation degrees. Many of our staff have completed additional specialised training, such as Level 3 qualifications in Speech and Language development. Our Area Manager has worked in childcare since 1997, and our Nursery Manager has been with us since 2003, bringing extensive experience to our day care nursery.

Awsworth School House Day Nursery is a small, family-run nursery caring for a maximum of 64 children, including a separate pre-school unit for 3-5 year olds. We can take children as young as 4 weeks, offering childcare that is rated good by Ofsted.

Our team will provide your child with a caring and safe environment; somewhere that offers your child the space to learn and grow, developing the skills that will give them a wonderful start at school. The childcare services we offer are flexible, affordable, and designed to meet parents' needs, as well as children’s. Parents are regarded as the principal 'educators and providers' of their children and the nursery staff are committed to providing the best care in partnership with the parents or carer.
