Quality nursery care from an experienced team

Awsworth School House Day Nursery in Nottingham is a special place for children, thanks to our fantastic team. We’d love you to meet them.

Experienced
and qualified childcare professionals

We’re very proud of the care we offer, and we can only do that thanks to our skilled, experienced, qualified, and dedicated team. We share a common goal: to ensure that every child we care for has a wonderful start to their school journey.

We want you to feel confident that your child is in good hands, so we encourage close links between nursery and home. Our team, particularly your child’s key worker, will always be happy to chat with you about their progress and how they’re flourishing in the setting.

“I am delighted to introduce myself as Awsworth Schoolhouse Day Nursery’s Area Manager. I have worked in the childcare sector since 1997 and came to work here in January 2002. I hold an NNEB childcare qualification and have also completed my Early Years foundation degree (Level 5). My passion is speech and language development which led me to complete a level 3 qualification in Speech and Language. I love continuing to learn and passing my learning on to our team.

I am extremely passionate about the early years and find my job very rewarding. I support the nursery manager and the rest of the nursery team to develop a warm, stimulating, environment for the children to learn, develop, and thrive in.”

“I have worked at Awsworth Schoolhouse Day Nursery since November 2003, when I started working in the preschool room. I became Nursery manager in 2010. I hold an NVQ Level 3 childcare qualification, and I have also done further study to gain my Early Years foundation degree (level 5)

My passion is to provide a warm and loving environment for children to develop in. I love to learn and continue my own professional development to enable me to do the best for the children in our care.

My job is so rewarding; I love watching the children develop and become confident communicators who are ready to move onto the next chapter of their learning environments. I enjoy knowing that we have all made a difference in that child’s life, getting them ready to move on.”
